Welcome! I'm Nelson Carpentier - Nelson as in Mandela, Carpentier as in Carpenter spelt wrong.

This is my first blog and I'd like to use it as a way to put my thoughts on paper so to speak. It also doubles as an excellent way to keep in touch with my friends and family back in my hometown of Anchorage Alaska. 

A few more things about me, I am currently studying Biology at the University of Colorado Denver with hopes of attending dental school. I'm also the president of school's club hockey team and treasurer of the pre-dental club. In my free time I like to volunteer over at a public health dental clinic and tinker around with my '79 Vespa.

I mostly write about the things my roommates are tired of hearing about. I talk a lot about the happenings at the public health dental clinic, my journey though the ADEA AADSAS (dental school application), and anything else that life happens to throw at me.

With regards to my dental application blogs (or any of my posts really) I could always use a dose of constructive criticism. Feel free to shoot me an email, post on the blog, fax me over your comments, whatever. I believe the late, great Kim Possible said it best - "call me beep me if you want to reach me."
